Description:
We are seeking three (UPDATE, one position still available) accomplished horsemen to finish and start on cattle 6 to 10 horses a piece for 90 days beginning mid-April. These horses are well-bred, athletic AQHA horses we bought as weanlings. They are gentle, halter broke and/or started, and raised on the ranch, handled properly. They are ages 4-7, good minds, fancy bred ranch and rope horses, some cutting and reining blood. These horses will be sold at mid-July at a well-publicized sale in the Bozeman, MT area. Horses will be professionally photographed, marketed, and previewed on cattle.



If you are a horse trainer seeking to establish your name, this is a fantastic opportunity to launch your career with promotion. The training process will be well-documented and published and advertised throughout, as buyers track the performance of both horses and cowboys online with video and social media updates in a "reality show" format. Horse trainers will be profiled and featured during ongoing pre-sale marketing. Horses will be tracked through training process, from start to finish.



Onsite training is preferred here, bunkhouse-style housing is available, RV/LQ trailer hookups are available, or local trainers who can make it in daily will be considered.



Trainers will receive 25% of the sale price of your horses, plus $1000 a month.



Applicants must have experience starting colts and training horses, preferably on cattle to rope and cut. We prefer men that can shoe, ride a bucking horse, haul horses, feed/care for your string, and live together (no family housing available). Work starts April 10th, with arrival of horses home from winter range
