Description:
I am a 30 year old, married, Texas panhandle rancher moving to Sheridan with my wife for the months of May, June, and July. I’m seeking an enjoyable ranch job within reasonable driving distance for these months and am more interested in developing long-term relationships and learning more ranching concepts than I am in earning top pay.



I have a 2007 Oklahoma State University degree in rangeland management and animal science and completed the TCU Ranch Management program in 2008. Since then, I’ve been at home on the family ranch working for my family as well as myself. My family and I run stockers, momma cows, and a small wheat and hay operation. I’m capable of working on my own, enjoy working with families, and consider myself a motivated, easygoing, quality-first type of individual. I don’t mind being "punchy", riding all day, and roping wild animals, but I’m just as comfortable checking water in the pickup, building corrals, or going through the list of ranch "to-do’s". I’ve got a pickup, trailer and horse if needed.



My wife is working on her Nurse Practitioner’s degree, and will be logging lots of clinical hours at the Sheridan hospital for her school requirements. We are leaving our family ranch near Canadian, Texas for these three months, and returning home in August. As of now, we have housing arrangements in Sheridan, and will be carrying our own health insurance.
