About Me:

I am a Georgia native and moved out to Texas this past August with the goal of pursuing my passion of all things equine and the desire to further my knowledge through opportunities which I was unable to obtain in my home state.

I am 27 years old and I’ve been working with and around horses my entire life. I have 7+ years of experience in barn management and as an instructor to beginning riders. I am a very strong rider and an extremely fast learner. I work hard and give 100% in all I do. I won’t stop until I feel I’ve perfected or come as close to perfection as possible in any task I undertake.

I am looking for a job or working apprenticeship (full time, preferably) with a cutting horse trainer, working cattle/horse ranch, horsemanship trainer, and/or colt starting facility. All of these fields are ones that I have studied and read about extensively but have had very little to no experience at practicing first-hand. I know a great deal about horses but I am always striving to know more. I am aware that it is impossible to learn all there is to know about horses in one lifetime but, I’m determined to try.



Wages/Salary, etc:

I live in Liberty Hill, TX but have reliable transportation and am willing to travel or relocate for the right opportunity. If you’re located further out, I would need room/board. If you take me on full-time, salary would be appreciated and I do have the typical bills to pay. It’d be great to have the option to board a horse for free or a reduced fee but, I currently do not own one so that’s not a deal-breaker.



Bottom line: I’ll bust my butt and work hard to help you with your operation if you can, in return, work hard to teach me all you know and help me grow as a horse(wo)man.
