Description:
A unique and enjoyable part-time diversified Administrative/Retail position is currently available on a ranch located in Southern Oklahoma near the OK/TX state line(10 miles north of Gainesville, Texas). Ideal for a mature single person or retiree seeking part-time employment or additional income with housing and long term security in a peaceful, stable environment.



Weekly salary ($100 minimum guaranteed) plus nicely furnished, private housing with paid utilities, satellite TV, laundry, trash, and numerous benefits. Housing space is limited. No children or extended family members as residents are allowed. Visitors are welcome. Couples will be strongly considered.



Qualified applicants must have verifiable work history and references that reflect working knowledge and experience with horses, livestock, ranching, and the Western lifestyle accompanied by office skills and some kind of Western retail experience.



Potential candidates must have actual experience as stated. Dreaming about living and working on a ranch all your life with no related experience riding or working around horses or livestock does not meet our standards of qualification.



Other considerations for this position include:

1. Demonstrated integrity, honesty,and common sense,

2. Basic to intermediate computer skills;

3. A willing, "can do" attitude;

4. A professional appearance and demeanor;

5. Ability to work independently as needed and with little or no supervision;

6. Problem solving skills;

7. Observing and completing tasks without being instructed to do so;

8. Creative thinking and artistic talent;

9. Attention to detail;

10. No addictions, behavioral issues, felonies, drama, or excuses.



This position, while multi-faceted, also offers stability and routine as well as a wide range of opportunities for growth and creativity in a tranquil, safe, low-key environment.



Administrative and retail duties are part-time weekly and average between 24-30. Other employment opportunities may be available for those with additional or advanced skills, including, but not limited to riding and occasional caretaker responsibilities. No trainers or outside horses for boarding or profit. We are looking for the ideal candidate, not just someone to immediately fill the position.
