The ranch is extremely well watered and has varying beautiful terrain. The ideal individuals will be hard working, honest, reliable, possess a positive attitude, and have pride in their work. These positions will work hand and hand with the other divisions at the ranch and will be expected to communicate effectively and efficiently with all other employees and management staff. This position will be responsible for many phases of ranch maintenance and office work, not just cattle. Ability to run/maintain heavy equipment will be necessary to this position. Applicable degree preferred. Key responsibilities are listed below: Cattleman: -calving -herd health -AI(if necessary) -record keeping -forage management -yearling heifer management -bull management and records -haying -property maintenance/fencing -pasture doctoring in rugged terrain -insuring profitable outcomes on calf crops -equipment operation/maintenance -arranging rotational grazing Wife: -maintain multiple in store accounts -balance credit card statements to receipts -maintain up to date records for cattle operation -assist in ranching duties as needed -order necessary supplies for cattle operation -process ranch mail and forward as necessary -communicate effectively with management -assist with housekeeping duties as needed *If you are a lone cattleman and meet the qualifications for the cattleman portion of this position, please send a resume or email for more information. Salary plus housing/utilities provided. This position is allowed to have 4 personal horses at no cost, if they are used for ranch duties.
