I’m a young 20 year old honest and dependable man looking for a long term cowboy position. I am the first of my family to follow the western life style. With that being said, I’m green, but don’t let that make or break your decision, I have a strong will to learn and expand my knowledge of horsemanship and cattle as much as possible.

I started working at a small local ranch that ran around 30 quarter horses and 2 dozen black and red angus when I was 16 for a few years. I did all jobs from feeding, watching over calves(3-5 calves a year) cleaning, running machinery, leading guest trail rides, kids camps, working and training young horses and fencing.

Since I’ve started riding I’ve tried roping and cutting/sorting as much as possible and enjoy every minute of it. Fall of 2012 I graduated Farrier School in Purcell Oklahoma where I also was breaking out colts on the side trimming and shoeing at some of the barrel futurities. I can do all from trims, to putting pads on shoes, to making handmade shoes and some bar shoes in the forge for horses.

I know the meaning of a 18 hour work day, knowing when a job must be done, and the respect of the animals. I’m young, physically fit, non-smoking/non-drugs respectful young man looking to be helped molded and become the best character I can be and gain the knowledge of everyday ranching cattle and horses with the help of a willing outfit. Looking for a job that spends around a 1/3 of the time or more on horseback but I’m not too picky. Looking to start the off the first of the year, but if deal is right can leave right away.
