Description:
These are a pair of August Buermann Lady Leg spurs. They were made prior to 1927. They are single mounted with Sterling silver engraved Lady Leg fishnet stockings, Copper slippers and Brass garters on the spur shanks. They have Sterling silver card suits on the heel bands and on the strap buttons. The Sterling has been tested. They are old, rusty and have some pitting on them. Rowel’s spin freely. One spur still has the Buermann stamp and star on the heel band. I have only polished the Sterling silver for taking photos. It will tarnish within six months !
