Not only is he gorgeous to look at he is completely trained. He has a big sliding stop, smooth spins, lopes around beautifully on a draped rein and is easy to guide. We have used Gunny for everything from ranch work, trail rides, tracking the dummy and the lead steer around the arena. His sire is an own son of the legendary Colonels Smokin Gun AKA Gunner. Gunny is as honest as they come and is a complete gentleman to ride and to be around on the ground. He comes running to meet you in the pasture and loves attention. We ride him right by the highway, he is traffic safe, good around equipment, dogs, blowing tarps and looks amazing carrying the American Flag. He rides out alone or in a group and goes the speed you ask. He is one hand broke and easy to ride. Gunny Stands 15.1H is stout made with the foot and bone to last a lifetime. Gunny has the talent to go any direction from ranch riding to the roping pen or use him on the ranch and enjoy him down the trails. He hauls great and is confident in new places. He crosses water, bogs, downfall, and steep terrain. He has been ridden everywhere from the mountains of Montana to the lights of downtown Fortworth. We absolutely love Gunny and know you will to!
