Writing this ad honestly pulls on my heart strings a bit because I have grown to be quite fond of this horse in the 6 months I’ve had him. He is truly a once in a life time type of gelding that I will hold close to my heart for years to come. If I had kids I would never let this horse go because he would be an absolute asset and full time babysitter. This guy truly doesn’t have a no button and comes out of his pen every morning with one of the best attitudes and work ethics I’ve ever seen in horse. He is a class act in every sense of the word and deserves to go to the best of homes.



Stinger is a jack of all trades and there is probably not a thing on the planet that could truly phase him. He was started on a working ranch and spent the first 7 years of his life working for every meal. He has seen wild cattle, rocky country, and probably some of the longest days you can put on a horse. He has been in the branding pen, stock yards, picked up strays, long gathers, led wild cattle, doctored yearlings, practically every ranch job but the dishes, and I’m pretty if he had thumbs he’d do that too. Dogs, traffic, bikes, water, etc do no bother him a bit and he is fantastic on the trail alone or with others.



Along with being an excellent horse outside the arena, Stinger has an extensive skill set in many arenas as well. He is phenomenally broke and easy to ride, it’s very rare to find a horse that is both broke AND gentle, and stinger has mastered it. He is buttery soft in his face and body, has a great stop, side passes, lead changes, leg yields, backs up, spins, etc. You could probably go enter him in a dressage show tomorrow and win it. Along with that he is patterned on the barrels and ready to start entering! He will really watch a cow and can hold his own in the sorting pen as well!



Stinger shines a ton in the arena and is a SOLID breakaway horse that has been hauled & entered! He is quiet in the box, scores well, stands square in the corners, leaves flat & off your hand, breaks to the pin, gives you an honest shot every time, has tons of run and stops hard. He would be perfect for junior or high school rodeo kid as he is safe and honest but still has plenty of run to give them a chance at every rodeo. He can take a lot of runs in the practice pen, Just score one out of each round and he will stay right in your hand and quiet every run. Stinger has also been team roped off in the past and hauled to many World Series ropings on the head side, and heeled off a bit on the practice pen. I didn’t have team roping videos to put in his sale ad but I can get some to you if you ask.



I adore this horse and every part of him, I know him like the back of my hand and have thrown him into all kinds of difficult situations and he has never once disappointed me.



Stinger requires no maintenance! AND he comes with a FULL SET of X-rays! He is up to date with on all routine vaccines and up keep, vet records and teeth records will go with him as well. *We had his aged verified by an Equine Dentist as well*
