Description:
Position is a ranch manager on 23 acres in Woody Creek, Colorado (15 minutes outside of Aspen) at 7470’. The position requires both livestock and land management skills including the following:

Daily feeding and care of 3 quarter horses, 5 Babydoll sheep, 12 dogs, and 20 chickens.

Coordinating all periodic and emergency veterinary services as needed.

Field irrigation and management of a 16 acre hay field.

Snowplowing / shoveling paths in winter with owner provided equipment.

Maintain 3 outbuildings, a horse barn and your homestead cabin in orderly and clean condition.

Oversee and monitor a main residence and a Victorian “guest” residence.

Saddling, caring for and grooming horses.

Homeowner personal needs such as picking up people at airport, child pick up, help unloading vehicles, etc.

Other tasks that will be listed in a document that we can send you.

Valid and clean driver’s license

Clean background check

No smoking



Compensation: full time salary based on experience PLUS housing (log cabin shown in pictures) – utilities included.
