Black Magic Millie, affectionately known as Millie, is by ApHC world Champion Black Magic Zippo and out of Millie Marshall (by The Marshall). Millie stands a healthy 15.2 hands with a lot of bone and a good foot. She will cover miles on miles of ground and plenty sure-footed to keep you safe and upright on all types of terrain. Crosses water, ditches, deadfall...just point her where you need to go and enjoy the ride! There isn’t much that will phase this mare. She’s road/traffic safe with all vehicles/machinery, good around children and dogs, and the pheasant that pops out from under you wont send her airborne. Wether she’s sat for 3 months or you’re 10 hours into a 12 hour ride...you can expect the same horse every time. Millie knows the ins and outs of arena work and will walk, trot, and lope both directions with a big stop! Once in a while you can see her playing around in the show pen in ranch classes and speed events. You can throw a rope off her, pony colts, and drag a log or boat. She will sidepass, pivot, has seen the barrel and pole pattern, and even messed around a little on cattle and tracking the rope dummy. Currently barefoot but can benefit from a set of fronts on rocky ground. No issue to load or unload, good for farrier and vet, loves a good rinse or bath after a long ride and is easy peasy to catch.
