Description:
We are hiring for a foreman position on our family ranch near Big Timber MT. The ideal candidate is eager, hardworking, willing to learn, and has a positive and easygoing attitude. You will need a passion for agriculture and an interest in growing your skill set in ranching, ability to oversee other crew members including H2A workers, and demonstrate proficiency in either stockmanship or mechanics. Class A CDL preferred or the desire and previous experience to acquire one. In addition to your area of proficiency, previous experience calving, feeding cattle, animal husbandry, driving truck, putting up hay, building and repairing fence, mechanics, and machinery repair would be a plus. We are not a cowboy outfit. We doctor with a dart gun and work most cattle with ATVs. You may bring a horse and there will be opportunities to use it, but if your dream is to sit in the saddle and swing a rope a lot this won’t be the right fit. We take a great deal of pride in the quality, disposition, and workability of our cow herd and sell bulls and replacement cattle. We calve a lot of heifers in the spring and put up 3000-5000 acres of dryland hay.



Housing, utilities, and beef is provided. Pay is DOE, 2500-3000 per month. Rapid advancement in salary and responsibilities is possible with an exceptional skill set. To be considered, please send a resume to jason@twinforksranch.com. Please send a resume before calling.
