Description:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assist with riding young horses, rehab of horses and ranch horses

• Assist with setting jumps and arena

• Groom and care

o Lunge

o Bandage

o Feed

o Water

o Wrap

o Walk and turn out

o Assist with therapies, (e.g. ice, thumper, etc.)

o Take fly masks on and off horses

• Turn horses out in pastures/moving pastures

• Clean horse stalls, outside pens, turnout area, walker/ round-pen

• Make feed for the next feeding, including reloading buckets and hay cart

• Fodder feed and clean trays

• Ensure horse barn, tacking area, pastures, water troughs, hay barn and surrounding areas are clean

• Manage and maintain chore board

• Responsible for ordering all supplies

• Keep Barn Manager updated

• Oversee and maintain a current social media presence
