Description:
We are a family owned ranch in South Texas. We run roughly 300 head of cattle, a haying operation with a pivot irrigation system, and as a family enjoy hunting. We are a high-fenced ranch with an abundance of wildlife.



We’re looking for someone honest, organized, motivated to work and with some level of knowledge in typical ranch work and maintenance. We need someone who understands the importance of a budget/minimizing spending. We need someone who knows cattle well -- from taking care of the cattle needs day to day to understanding the market. We need someone who knows how to operate heavy machinery and is mechanically inclined to make minor repairs as needed. The hay operation is mostly outsourced by a 3rd party company, but we will need a foreman willing to help as needed. There is also some property management and maintenance involved for the houses/structures on the land. It’s also important we have someone who will keep things clean and in working order. Ideal foreman gets along well with others, can manage employee(s), is honest about areas where in-depth knowledge may be lacking and is willing to learn.
