He began his career early on as a bucking horse named “103 Ben Rounder”. (Fire branded “103” on left hip.) He has since been known to us as “Jeezy”. Once he decided he didn’t like to buck anymore he was started the correct way by one individual. He then went on the work as a pickup horse and ranch horse. (Pictures are in the video.) Jeezy has been used extensively in feed yards and to doctor wheat pasture cattle across multiple states.(Pics in the video.) I have personally used him to gather pastures, sort and push cattle up in the pens. This year I started him over some low jumps& he is ready to advance as a Fox Hunter or a cross country prospect. He really enjoys it and is fun to ride. Jeezy truly enjoys a days work& will never quit you. He is as tough as they come. His work ethic is 110%. He is very soft in his face& ribs. Soft off of your legs and hands. He is brave and sure footed over rugged terrain and looks straight through the bridle. Jeezy is ideally suited for an intermediate or advanced rider due to being watchy on the ground at times. It’s part of his personality, he owns it and once you know him it doesn’t really bother you. He is very willing and soft off of your legs and hands and the softer you are the nicer he rides. He won’t go to anyone who wants to jerk, jab and train on him to prove that they’re a tough know-it-all cowboy. He doesn’t require any of that. I’ve owned& ridden this horse for a long time and he has NEVER tried to buck with me, bite, kick, etc etc. Specifics about our Jeezy- Age: 11yrs old. I’ve never needed to vet him to verify this, therefore all vet checks are encouraged at buyers expense.
