Description:
Central New Mexico cattle ranch looking for individual to help maintain and improve cattle operation on 26,000 acre ranch. Should have general knowledge of cattle, horses, pipelines, fences, and equipment operation. Includes feeding of cattle, gathering, branding, and water maintenance including ice breaking. Non smoker preferred, and have valid driver’s license. Cattle work done horseback and a calf table is usually used at branding. Ranch is remote, about 80 miles to closest Walmart. Must be able to lift 50# salt block and move 250 # tubs. Owners live full time on ranch, not absentee. Salary plus housing, utilities, and room for two horses. House four miles from headquarters, is newly remodeled but small and includes a small set of pens. Some pasture is available. Must be able to leave dogs. Age and gender not a factor.

Salary $2,500 to $3,000 per month plus housing and utilities, depending on experience
