Experienced ranch caretaker couple are seeking a new commiment and new equine friends.



Our experience includes riding, monitoring, feeding and general care of horses, mules, mustangs, and donkeys. We’ve handled geldings, mares, foals and studs. We’ve assisted in the annual hay harvest, built shelters, fixed fences, etc and are no strangers to hard work. We’re dedicated, reliable and drama free. We like to say we’re work horses, not show horses!



Additionally, David can operate most equipment, use any tool, fix almost anything and has a background heavy in building construction, groundskeeping and maintenance. Wendy’s bonus skills include customer service, reservations, matketing, website design/maintenance, running a business Facebook page and has managed two large hotels, a b&b and a doctors office.



We’re active, quiet, non smoking, hard working and we honor our commitments. We promise ownership level attention to detail, commitment and care. We work well with others and with or without supervision. We enjoy hiking, great scenery, photography and wildlife. We have two quiet, well behaved dogs who are used to being inside or on leash.



An RV hookup or other on-site living quarters with laundry access are a necessity. Location and situation are our priority and we only want to live around and work for good hearted animal loving people in a scenic, quiet and interesting location. A mountain location would be preferred, but will consider any intriguing opportunity.



We are currently finishing an eight month winter contract at a California equine nonprofit and will consider short term, long term and permanent opportunities.
