Description:
Experienced barn management/equine caretaker couple are seeking a situation starting around April 1st (possibly sooner) and we’re open to short or long term positions.



We have experience handling, riding, monitoring and caring for a large herd of equines....including horses, mules, mustangs, and donkeys. We’ve handled geldings, mares and foals and two (admittedly) mild mannered studs. We’re not spring chickens, but we’ve assisted in the annual hay harvest, built shelters, fixed fences, etc and are no strangers to hard work. We like to say we’re work horses, not show horses!



We prefer a private barn (or very few boarders). Preference will be given to a quiet scenic location in the Mountain West or Pacific Northwest.







Location and situation are our priority and we only want to live around and work for good hearted animal loving people in a scenic, quiet and interesting location.



We’re active, quiet, non smoking, hard working, drama free folks. We promise ownership level attention to detail, commitment and care. We work well with others and with or without supervision. We enjoy hiking, great scenery, photography and wildlife.



We have two quiet dogs who are used to the RV lifestyle and being inside or on leash. Our motor home is an attractive 36’ Class A and we tow a newer small car. If you offer housing, but no RV hookup, we just need space on site for RV storage.
