Description:
Public Auction Yards, one of the nation’s largest livestock marketing organizations, is located in Billings, Montana and is currently seeking a Livestock Manager. The primary responsibility of this position is to help establish a strong, competitive, and profitable operation while under the direction of the General Manager. The position will be the primary person on sale day that will help sort, organize sale orders, and other tasks as assigned.



Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25,000 – $50,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Essential Functions:

1. Conduct all tasks in compliance with Public Auction Yards policies and guidelines

2. Sorting, Unloading, Loading, and more Sorting of Livestock

3. Communicate with co-workers and management

4. Document any corrections appropriately

5. Provide excellent customer service to all patrons

6. Other duties, as assigned



Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Must be able to sort all classes of cattle

2. Good communication and interpersonal skills

3. Ability to work outside in all types of weather
