Description:
We are still looking for a cattle manager who will be a good fit for our operation. The cattle manager will manage a large yearling herd as well as a large cow herd on a remote Northern Nevada ranch. The cattle manager will work closely with the manager and actively participate in ranch operations to become familiar with the day-to-day operation of the ranch as well as the strategic vision for the long-term growth and sustainability of the ranch.



The ranch is approximately 350,000 contiguous acres (combination private and public) located in north central, Nevada. The ranch manages up to 4000 yearlings and approx. 2500 head of cows with minimal employees. We are a progressive outfit who are always learning and adapting to the environment and conditions and we are looking for someone who is willing to learn and adapt along with us. We strive to be family friendly while still maintaining professionalism and safety.



Salary is dependent on experience. There is opportunity for growth within the company for the right person.



The location of the ranch is remote. There is very little to no community nearby, including neighboring ranches. The closest schools are 1 – 1.5 hours away.
