Will also be responsible for all aspects of care of the horses, ordering of supplies, farrier and veterinary appointments, etc. Must be organized, self- starter willing to work alone. Currently we anticipate a maximum of 10 foals per year with most foals being sold as yearlings and a few going on to training as 2-year olds. Additionally, there are a few performance horses that need to be exercised year-round and blanketed/stalled during the winter. Qualifications: Must be organized Must be professional in appearance and behavior Must be good with people as we may have potential buyers coming to the ranch to look at yearlings Must be a non-smoker Must be experienced in foaling, weaning and fitting horses for sales Must have a valid driver license and can pass a background check Employment package: Salary will depend on experience Potential commissions/bonuses for fitting and selling horses Health insurance provided House included Truck and trailer are provided Will be allowed 1 horse and a dog if the dog is kept in a professional looking kennel.
