Outstanding pair of spurs that are mounted with sterling silver and copper and made by award winning maker Randy Butters. they are marked RANDY BUTTERS AWA 1107. He was the Academy of Western Artists maker of the year. He made these specifically for the 2011 Women Protective Services auction at Lubbock Texas. It a fund raising event for the WPS that was started abount 17 years ago by Fritzi Cates, the daughter of the late spur maker Jerry Cates. This pair has brass and copper inlaid in the silver and has engraving in the steel. 3 5/16" heel openings,1 1/8" bands, 2 1/4" shanks, 1 7/8" rowels.
