Description:
Christian ranch family looking to relocate to western Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, other areas will be considered as well.

Husband, wife and 3 children (18yr old son that will be graduating this year, 16yr old daughter and a 6yr old son). My husband grew up on the family’s registered Hereford Cattle Ranch in Dubois, WY. He has 30+ years experience with horses, ranch work, and feedlot work. He is very skilled in doctoring, branding, roping, calving, keeping records for a registered herd, general ranch work, horse training, and farrier work on horses. Our kids have been able to grow up doing ranch work on different places. So they know there is always new ways to learn to do something. We have worked on ranches and feedlots in Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota and Nebraska. We will give you an honest days’ work; rain, snow or shine. I am responsible on my own and work well with others. We believe you need to know how to read cattle in order to work them the best way you can. Slow and easy not full bore and wide open at all times. We are looking to work on a well managed, organized, family oriented ranch with a salary that includes: a house, utilities, beef/yr. and a truck and trailer for ranch duties. Remote locations are perfect. We have home schooled for the past 8yrs. We both have clean driving record and have nothing to hide in a back ground check. We have 5 good working horses and tack.

(Our current employer has not been able to get the extra leases he was counting on, so is not able to grow his cattle numbers like he had hoped. Without the extra numbers there is no reason to have an extra family hired)

*Husband’s background includes:

43yrs old, non-smoking, no drug use ever, will have an occasional drink.

Starting and training colts.

Packing in and out of heavy timber, clearing fence lines of downed trees.

Fencing in all sorts of ground conditions; sandy, rocky, heavy timber, marshland, gumbo.

Setting up all ranch work; pre-conditioning, weaning, shipping, brandings, hiring day help when needed.

Working for absentee owners; making sure every aspect is taken care of on a daily basis.

Working along side of owners; daily or weekly calls to check in and make sure every one is on the same page of what needs to get done.

Maintaining water supply to livestock; windmills, water lines, gravity feed tanks, winter tanks, dams

*Wife’s background includes:

43yrs old, non-smoking, non-drinking, no drug use ever

Helping where ever needed

Lining up the ground crew on branding days, making sure vaccines are handled correctly and administered correctly.

Sorting heavies during calving, helping with all aspects during calving time.

Hauling cattle or hay

Help during haying season

Loves to cook for the crews

Has a current CDL
