Description:
Looking for an honest, conscientious employee to operate our bale truck for the summer. Long term employment potential will be an option at end of the summer. Hours of work will be similar to other ranch hours. The bale truck position requires an understanding of manual and/or automatic tandem axle trucks and dumping but does not require a CDL. The bale truck is similar in design to a bale wagon with an arm that extends down to the ground to pick up 72" round bales. The bale truck can haul and dump 10 bales to the load. This position is somewhat autonomous to the other haying operation as its main goal is to have all the bales off the hay grounds as quickly as possible so irrigation water can be reapplied. The operator of the truck will be responsible for all maintenance and care. Dumping skills would be a plus but are not required. The position includes room and board (Bunk House) and health insurance is available. We also offer a performance bonus to be determined at the end of the season. Please note that although the position is for driving a bale truck, there are other jobs associated with the ranch that the employee may be asked to do or assist with during the course of the summer.
