Description:
Wanted: A single buckaroo who is willing and able to shoot predators, ride colts and older snaffle bit horses and sleep on the ground at primitive cow camps away from cell phone service in remote Eastern Oregon. Plenty of opportunity to learn and refine horsemanship and stockmanship skills. Expect long hours in the saddle in all kinds of weather and not too much time laying around camp or the bunkhouse. No dogs, mares, or whining. Need to show up with a good saddle, a warm bedroll, a positive attitude, a love for tradition and principle, and grit teeth. Wage DOE plus beef and some groceries provided. Bonus for finishing the season. Also included is the opportunity, tools, materials, and instruction to learn basic leather crafting, rawhide braiding, spur making, and other traditional western skills. Call Mat at 541-620-1323
