Description:
Slick is a 7 yr old grey ranch gelding that is 14.3 hands , 1050 lbs , black footed, thick made and big butted, has a big kind eye. No blemishes. He is gentle and stays gentle. He has a nice one handed ride around. Stays between the bridle reins, goes where you point him. He has been used in the wheat pastures in NW Oklahoma tending cattle and doctoring sick calves and in the local cow sales near here, all the noise and commotion don’t rattle him a bit. We have drug some lite calves on him, and caught a few wild bovines also. Slick is gentle for most folks, hasn’t offered to act up in any way.

While not a finished ranch horse he is well on his way to being a real nice ranch horse. He hauls good in my ranch trailer backs out when told.

Slick is easy to shoe , vaccinate and worm.

Even on cold mornings he hasn’t acted up in any way. We pull him up tite and trot him rite off.

Every Friday Slick gets rode 12-15 hours at the sale barn sorting calves and yarding back cattle , he is good at it, takes it in stride.
