“Heidi” is a darling deep liver chestnut rabicano mare sired by Light N Lena (son of Grays Starlight) who won 165k NCHA and out of a Dual Pep/Freckles Playboy mare that won $34.7k herself in the NCHA. This sweet little mare is packed with some of the best-known sires on her pedigree, and is easy for anyone to get along with. She is just the perfect size, standing right at 14.1H. Born in 2018, and AQHA registered.

Heidi would enjoy toting around a youth, amateur, or old lady in the ranch riding events or down the trail back at the ranch. She is safe, extremely good minded, and gentle for anyone to have fun on! Her jog and lope are comfortable to sit, and she sports a push type style to her (not lazy but not overly forward either). She has zero tricks up her sleeve and can take a joke. Heidi is happy to go your desired speed, has more whoa then go, and is extremely friendly/kind natured. She can easily live at home and be trailered into lessons for any non-pro enthusiast. What I adore most about Heidi is how “go with the flow” she is – load her in the trailer and take her for a new adventure without a worry!

Heidi is fancy broke, honest, soft, yet not overly responsive to cues (great for a rider that is learning). She can demonstrate all the ranch riding maneuvers; side pass, work a gate, drag a log, step over logs, sport a handy turn around, lope and jog on a draped rein, rate off your seat with crisp transitions, and perform flying lead changes. Best of all, she is extremely trainable! She loves a good adventure and rides off property confidently down any trail. Will cruise over bridges, through water crossings, and navigate rough terrain. Heidi has even been ridden English – she is the true jack of all trades. Ride her bareback, ride her in town with cars passing by your side, ride her by yourself or in a group - she has proven to be reliable and honest time and time again.
