Description:
Git wandered in as a puppy. He earned his name through jumping and getting under foot. He heard things like “get off” and “get away” so much, he decided these must be his name. Unfortunately, as Git grew, he became too much for the home he had found. I agreed to foster him and have had him since November.



Git has been hard to place in a pet home. He desperately wants a job and will make up jobs of his own when not provided one. Git is around 10 months old and quite impulsive, but after being shown how to do something a time or two, he’s got it and will happily do whatever work is asked of him.



Git has been around horses and chickens and ducks and dogs his whole life. He likes to try to move the animals and I do believe he would do well working on a ranch with someone who can help shape him into the ranch hand he dreams of becoming.



Git is neutered, up to date on vaccines, on monthly heartworm prevention, sleeps in a crate, and walks well on leash. He’s a little barky on first meeting, but he turns into the sweetest, cuddliest boy after a few minutes.



Git has the potential to be an amazing dog with a little guidance.
