Description:
Maverick Beef Feedlot, located in Bridgeport NE (western Nebraska) is currently seeking a cattle manager for our south yard. The yard has a capacity of 11,000 head, 9,000 of which is a brand new expansion.

Previous cattle and management experience required.



Duties include:



General day to day management of cattle on feed

Riding and treating sick cattle

Organizing processing

Record Keeping

General Pen Maintenance

Organizing tasks for the day and executing them with fellow coworkers/ pen riders

Creating and maintaining a culture amongst employees that strives for excellence.



Occasionally will be asked to help assist with cattle at the North yard.



Housing is provided. Will feed and shoe up to 3 head of horses.
