“Newman”- 15.1H, 11 yr old bay gelding

Newman has been a ranch horse the majority of his life. He’s handy broke like one should be coming off a ranch. He has experience roping in the pasture and all things cowboy. He is VERY gentle though and it does not take a cowboy to handle him. Newman is a very sweet, loving gelding and easy to get along with! He would make the perfect mount for anyone looking for a FUN pleasure horse / ranch horse! Anyone will be able to work cows on him and he’ll still fit a cowboy looking for a good sturdy horse to go use! He’s very fancy broke, moves of the slightest rein across his neck and moves off leg perfectly. If you can hold the reins, you can ride him! He’s very user friendly and EASY to ride! He’s VERY comfortable at all gaits and will collect up or ride with a loose rein! Newman would also fit the rider looking for a prospect for western dressage, or a ranch versatility show horse. He also took to the barrels very easily and might make a cool barrel prospect! A beginner level rider would also be safe on him as he has ZERO buck, bolt, rear, bite or spook. The video in the Stockyards is the absolute very very FIRST time he’s EVER been to town. He absolutely handled it calm, cool and collected. Newman is one of the favorites around here and he just might end up in the keeper pen if he doesn’t find his home first. This video does not do him justice. He is BROKE BROKE BROKE and one of the easiest ones we’ve been able to advertise! The ONLY flaw he has is a chewed tail. He was turned out with some colts and they chewed it. Whichever way you want to take him, this guy would be the PERFECT new man for anyone looking for one to safely, throughly enjoy!
