Description:
Couple preferred, individual considered.

Seeking caretakers/ranch hands to live onsite on a 10 acre inholding year round.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Loading and unloading of hay, feeding, grooming and riding 5 horses, putting up and if necessary repairing fence, taking down fence, tending to greenhouse, caring for chickens, when necessary caring for 2 cats and 2 dogs, using heavy equipment (tractor, Sno-cat), irrigating, mowing, towing trailers, cutting, splitting and stacking firewood.

Carpentry and mechanical skills preferred.

Must be detail oriented, able to critically think and problem solve, follow directions, identify small problems and proactively prevent them from becoming big problems.

Honest, trustworthy, hardworking, dependable.

No smoking, no drugs, no excessive drinking.

Property does not accommodate horses in the winter.

Living quarters provided: 800 sq.ft., 2 levels, full kitchen, one bedroom with queen bed, a set of bunkbeds, 2 full bathrooms.

Tracked vehicle access only in the winter.
