Roanie is a great youth ranch horse and youth ranch rodeo horse. We have also used him for riding lessons and kids day camps. He is beginner safe. He is an 18 year old grade gelding and he stands 15.1 hands tall. Roanie has been a ranch horse his entire life. He is safe for the whole family and is safe for the kids to ride to help out on the ranch. He has had lots of cattle roped on him and is very patient and lets the boys track cattle around in the arena and learn to rope. He is safe to ride outside in the pasture, on trails, and in the pens. He will side pass to open and close gates and is very easy to get along with and has a lot of patience. His handle is great but simple where a kid can easily get along with him. He neck reins, has a really nice short lope, and always does what’s asked of him. Roanie is a solid gelding. He is an easy keeper, gets along well in a pasture, and ties and trailers well.
