Gem is a super sweet 4 year old pony mare. She is solid black in color with a nice long thick mane and stands 37” tall. She has great conformation and a nice stout build. Gem is a gentle and sweet mare. She absolutely loves attention and enjoys being groomed and doted on. She is a great leadline pony and she rides alone well also. She is very respectful of your space when you are handling her and she will not push on you. She stands still to be groomed, saddled, and bridled. She is great with having her feet handled and was last trimmed a couple of days ago. Gem is an ideal pony for someone looking for one for a young child to last awhile because she does both leadline and ride alone and when riding alone she will trot off if asked. She has been ridden in the arena, out in the pasture, and down the dirt road. She has never offered to spook or do anything out of line. She will stand tied all day long if you want her to, she trailers great, gets along well in the pasture, and is an easy keeper.
