Description:
Seeking an all around, full time, and long term ranch hand for a 5th generation family ranch located in southern Washington, 45 minutes from Hermiston, OR. We manage our ranch and do not need a manager nor is this a buckaroo job! We are a cow/calf operation and raise horses. We desire someone with a “can do/get it done attitude” and that is self motivated and dependable. Must also have common sense and moral values please. We calve during the winter and spend lots of time horseback but during the summer, although we frequently check cattle at pasture, much time is spent doing repairs and maintenance projects. A list of desired abilities are:



-Knowledge of working/doctoring cattle (quietly), calving, and roping.

-Fixing fence

-Basic mechanic work and operating heavy machinery

-Feeding/feedlot

-Some irrigation knowledge a plus

-Knowledge of colts a plus



We are willing to teach but basic knowledge is desired. Must have a valid drivers license and willing to have a background and drivers check. Also must be a non-smoker. Salary DOE, housing available (no inside pets). Please send resume with references to mcbridescattle1981@gmail.com
