We are looking for skilled ranch hand who is dependable and a hard worker for a private horse ranch with a small herd of mother cows. Must be an organized self-motivated and detailed individual.

The perfect candidate must be capable of operating farm equipment including tractors and skidsteers, attaching and using implements, fixing fences, pulling horse trailers, and maintaining property and equipment, including mowing, and weed control. Duties include caring for horses, cleaning stalls, halter-breaking young colts, and keeping barn and grounds clean. ANYTHING that needs to be done is within the scope of this position. Specific duties could include mowing, weed eating, weed spraying, help with haying, putting up/maintaining fences, doctoring cattle and help with calving, caring for and maintaining equipment.

In the winter making repairs to facility/equipment, winterizing/servicing equipment for the next season, cleaning/maintaining property grounds, snow removal. Experience with being around livestock, specifically horses is required. Drivers license with good driving record is required. Must be able to pass a background check. This is a drug free facility. No smokers please. Ability to lift 80 pounds.

Compensation includes a furnished 3 bedroom home, all utilities paid, high speed internet and Dish TV plus $2200/month. Work starts immediately
