Part-Time/Full-Time Feed Truck Driver & Maintenance Position

Leachman Cattle of Colorado is a beef cattle genetics company that currently markets approximately 2,000 seedstock bulls a year throughout the United States. Bulls are marketed primarily through 10 annual production sales and private treaty. Leachman Cattle is located in northern Colorado, just north of Fort Collins and Wellington.

Leachman Cattle is currently seeking an employee to help feed and care for bulls on test. This person would be responsible for equipment maintenance, daily feeding, facility upkeep, and some cattle work. The ideal candidate would be motivated, responsible, and would promote a safe and clean working environment. This position would report to the Herdsman on the Cattle Team.



Skills Required

• Good organization and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Experience operating a variety of farm equipment including a feed truck and mixer box.

• Ability to handle and treat cattle.



Compensation

• Salary paid position with pay commensurate with experience

• Option for health care coverage

• Paid vacation time

• 401K available after minimum time commitment is fulfilled
