She is a really broke and gentle ranch pony. Lark has a great handle. She neck reins honestly and easily, has a nice turn around, a good stop, and backs up with ease. She has been ridden by all ages child to adult and is honest and the same horse for everybody. Lark is a nice all around pony. She has been used on the ranch to doctor and help in the branding pen. We have even taken her on catch jobs. She will ride through or over anything you point her at and has never offered to spook. She rides great in the arena as well and is perfect for the kids to track around our slower cattle to breakaway and learn how to properly handle a rope. She is patient and allows the kids to make mistakes without taking advantage. She would do great as a lesson pony as she is easy to get along with. She will walk, trot, and lope off and has a very nice short lope. We have dabbled with the playdays events and she does well she just isn’t a finished playday pony but is broke enough and gentle enough to do what the kids ask at whatever speed they prefer. She has been hauled to ropings and ranch rodeos and is accustomed to commotion. She has been used for youth ranch rodeos also. Lark is gentle and quiet on the ground and in the saddle. She is easy to catch and easy to handle. Good for the farrier, ties and trailers great, and is a sweetheart.
