Description:
If you are looking for a nice young gelding with a good foundation, that you can use on the ranch or make a performance horse out of, then take a look at Caviar. He is a stout, well built 6 year old gelding, black as two feet down a stovepipe and built the way one should be, with a big hip, wide chest, plenty of bone and a big foot. Caviar is 15 hh and weighs approx. 1150 pounds and he sells as GRADE. He came off of a ig ranch, where he was used for all phases of ranch work, including roping and gathering cattle in the pasture, sorting pairs, and tagging and doctoring calves. He is strong to the horn and good on the end of a rope. Caviar is cowy and will track up, and would make an excellent sorting horse or head horse as well, although he has not been roped off of in the arena. He is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. He has a good handle and stop, will sidepass, and work a gate. Caviar rides quietly on a loose rein but also knows how to travel out in the pasture. He is good on both leads, has an incredibly smooth jog you could sit to all day long, and a nice rocking horse lope. Caviar can be ridden by himself or in a large group of horses with no problem. He will leave the group willingly and will happily lead or follow. He has also been ridden along the side of the road and in traffic and is not bothered by it. Caviar is a young horse in need of a job. He is not suitable for children or beginners, would do best with an experienced rider who can put some more miles on him.
