Crockett is listed in Bit and Spur Makers in the Texas Tradition by Ned and Jody Martin. These spurs are from the 1938 to 1943 time period based on the size and location of the mark. They are marked with the Crockett mark on the outside of the heel bands under the swingers. The spurs were originally chrome plated and are engraved on one band and have a nickel silver button cover. The other side is stamped Bray Cook, Colorado, City. There is some play in the rowels but not a lot. These would be nice to add to a collection or could still be worn today.
