If you are looking for a fancy broke gelding that you cannot only use in the pasture but make some money winning runs on in the arena once finished out of the box, Cowboy is your guy. Cowboy is one of our personal horses and has NOT been through multiple owners. Cowboy was bought as a two-year-old by an older gentleman and son. The older gentleman passed away when Cowboy was 9yrs old and then the son continued to use him on the ranch and in the feedlot for the next two years. Cowboy has been headed on, heeled off of, roped off of in the pasture, lightly started on barrels, and would make a jam up calf/breakaway horse. He light mouthed and rides mainly off your legs and seat. Works very well off his hind end, will bit up or ride on a loose rein, and draw a set of 11’s when you ask for a stop. He is not a kids horse unless your kid knows how to ride due to him having all the right buttons and being more of a performance type of horse. Cowboy stands to be saddled and loves to get sprayed off with the hose. Stands for you to get on. Easy to bridle. Will open gates and go through water. Cowboy does not need a big bit and rides around very well in a smooth o-ring snaffle. He’s the type of horse that will be your partner for life and will do anything you ask of him. The only blemish on Cowboy is a very old scar on his hind leg that was caused while working out in the pasture. It does not affect him in any way and will be selling as sound.
