They used her to check and pen their cattle. They prowled pastures on her looking for strays and checking fences and she’s great to go out alone. The older kids that come over use her when we’re roping to keep the steers pushed up the alley and to track the score cattle down to the gate. She’s a steady trail horse that has been ridden all over including up in the mountains in Colorado, Palo Duro Canyon and Dinosaur Valley. Her previous owners traveled extensively trail riding and camping. They have gotten to the point they don’t have time to ride anymore so we got their 4 horses. She was ridden by her owners as well as all their older grandkids. She’s very sweet with a willing laid back disposition. They took her to church functions and rode her around. They used her for Native Costume Classes. They rode her in local parades and her owner dressed up as an Indian and put full Indian pony attire on Tillie as well. If you want a trail horse or one to use on your ranch with all the flash and looks you can find that’s been all over here she is. She has no bad habits or vices.
