He wrote and had a school on bit and spur making. He is featured in the Martin’s book on california style makers. He marked many of his works JOLON. He use to come the collectors show in Amarillo, Tx. Jerry Cates set up at the shows as well. I am believing during this time that Mr. Hall had Mr. Cates make this pair for him and put his initials. They were both top makers. Mr. Hall never wore this pair of spurs. This is a good piece of history and the spurs are sure a nice using style. They are unworn and feature 1" bands, 3 1/4" heel openings, 2" shanks, 1 1/4" rowels. We pay shipping within the 48 states and accept most forms of payment.
