Robert is a long-time bit and spur maker originally from Amarillo, Texas. The back of the buckle is marked Evans. It is steel mounted with engraved nickel silver. The buckle is attached to the headstall with lace leather. The headstall is made out of extra heavy harness leather. The edges are beveled and hand rubbed. It has straight bit ends and the bit attaches with latigo tie strings. It was made by Jake Duckworth from Happy, Texas. He does a really nice job. It is maker marked JD. This would be a nice headstall to use.
