Scootin is a five-year-old, 15 hand, 1100 lb, Sorrel Ranch gelding. He’s an own son of the late Scootin Boon, NCHA $91,000. They don’t get much broker than this at 5! He is very broke and light in the bridle and in his ribs. Has done a lot, started as a cutter, and then spent two years on a large New Mexico Ranch, The Bell Ranch, in the hands of a very good cowboy. Roped a lot in the pasture, taken care of lots of cattle in big rough country, very Cowy, and a super nice horse to sort or strip on. He has a big walk and trot and will cover some country. A big stopping horse that has plenty of speed, very quick footed and catty, could make an arena rope horse overnight. Would make a big time calf horse. Been hauled to Ranch Rodeos and is the top horse kind. Ready to show an any cattle event. This is a gentle horse with lots of cowboy manners, very quick with lots to ride and feel, and more horse than most novice need. A superior Ranch Horse with a Cow Horse handle.
