He is a grandson of the great Dual Pep and out of a Peptoboonsmal mare. Clyde is always eagerly waiting at the gate to be caught, thoroughly loving any task that you ask of him. This five-year-old bay gelding is flashy with his big blaze and is built correct in every way. He stands 14.3 hands and is about 1050 pounds with outstanding bone structure. He has a long, sloping shoulder, a short topline in relation to a long underline and a long, flat hip. He is a natural in all aspects from moving cattle up a mountain side, crossing ditches, ground tying, riding bareback, roping calves, to easily maneuvering though sagebrush and gopher holes while having proper softness and body control. He flexes at the poll and moves off your leg with a soft touch making it easy to open gates, side-pass, two-track, change leads, stop, etc. We have branded calves on him at numerous brandings over the last couple of years. He has roped the Heel-O-Matic on both ends. Clyde is easy to catch, shoe, clip, load in a trailer, etc. In addition, his gaits are smooth, making him a pleasure to ride.
