Concho is a 14 year old leopard appaloosa with the most unique coloring, a pretty head with a kind eye, and good, hard feet. He has a pretty decent mane and tail as well. Concho is 14.3 hh and stout enough for a man to ride, but low enough to the ground that he is easy to get on and off of. He is pretty fancy broke with all the buttons you want on a horse. He is soft in the bridle, will sidepass, work a gate, lope on both leads, and has a nice smooth trot and rocking horse lope. Concho has been ridden by both adults and experienced youth, has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off, and rides quietly on a loose rein. He has done some playdays and is not bothered by the noises, sounds, sights, or anything else. Concho is the same horse everywhere you take him, and rides just as good away from home as he does at home. He is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. Concho will ride in the arena and lope nice circles as well. He has been used to move and sort cattle but he has never been roped off of. Concho can be ridden by himself or with other horses, will happily lead or follow and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. He has been ridden down the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it..
