He always tacks up good no matter if he was ridden the day before or 6 months ago. He’s a very uncomplicated drama free gelding that’s always ready to do what you want. He’s very proficient on the ranch and has been used for everything including gathering, penning, sorting pairs, roping and doctoring sicks, dragging calves to the fire and loading trucks. He’s very broke and will neck rein, pivot, pick up his leads, lope circles, move off your feet and stop good. He will side pass and open and close gates. He has an awesome short collected slow lope and it’s incredibly smooth. We’ve got him started in the arena tracking and roping the dummy and live cattle. He has a big motor and can really run when asked to move out and he’ll make a top notch head horse finished out. He’s been lightly patterned and would make a really cool barrel horse if you wanted to take him in that direction. He’s been hunted off of and had a gun shot off him. Another great thing about him is he’s been at the race track and used as a pony horse. He’s been trail ridden all over including in the mountains and in the Palo Duro Canyon. He’s been ridden around traffic, tractors, dozers, bicycles, motorcycles, ATV’s and dogs and could care less. He’s just an honest all around nice horse that you and your family will love. If you’re looking for one of those hard to find geldings that you can do anything on don’t miss out on him. Jag has absolutely no bad habits or vices.
