Description:
We are custom grazers located in central Nebraska. Our current operation consists of taking in bred cows and care for them from April to about December 1. Grazing occurs in managed grazing cells on native range and pivot irrigated land.



We don’t put up hay and we don’t work in the cold much. We need help for the upcoming season. If you’re a student with an upcoming summer or if you want to start right away we can work with either.



We do limited farming on the pivots, planting cattle feed. We don’t put up any hay or silage. We are typically moving cows 3-5 times/week, checking water (mostly pipelines), fencing (barbed wire and electric), irrigating (pivots with diesel motors), and taking care of cows.



We would like to find a dependable person which would be the assistant to an aging manager. We would love to find somebody for a long-term position but we’ll see how the first season goes.



We handle cattle via ATV, we can make room for some horses for use in moving/checking cows.



Salary depends on experience. We would like to get good help and pay them accordingly.
