2011 Gelding 16.1/16.2 H 1400# 1/4 TB, 1/4 Percheron, 1/2 QH (Starlight Sam / Sire)

This guy was started as a two year old, spent his first 4 years under saddle doing honest ranch work. Ridden and handled correctly from the very beginning. This last year he took some time away from the ranch and competed in Skijoring throughout MT, and my girlfriend took him and put some beginner trail riders on him for a week in the back country. Honest solid gelding.

Work a cow, lead changes, spin a hole into the ground, roll backs. Sort pairs in the big country, doctor calves, big stop, shoot off him, ridden with stock whip, roped on extensively and handles rope well. Ranch and arena ridden.

Sound, sane, correct confirmation, tough as nails, quiet, built to last. Ties, loads, good for farrier. Ready for branding 2018. This has been a one owner horse, first time ever offered for sale.

Selling due to a life change and love of Sailing. Don’t believe in good horses sitting idle, waste of time, skill and talent.
