Les Garcia is listed in Bits and Spurs in the Vaquero Tradition by Ned and Jody Martin. The bit is marked inside the cheek piece GARCIA. A similar bit is shown in the Les Garcia 1962 catalog. The bit is steel and is inlaid with sterling silver. It has copper wrapped braces, a copper roller on the spade, and a copper cricket. There is copper overlaid on the back of the spade. The bit is not bent, broken, or repaired. This would be a nice bit to use or to add to a collection.
